My Quitting Mindset Coaching Programme Overview

Your success in quitting smoking, depends almost entirely on what you think and believe. This is the principle behind my Quitting Mindset Coaching Programme. 

Certain stories may exist in your mind without you being aware of how they affect your behaviour. These could include negative beliefs about your confidence, your ability to change or what you can control. These thoughts can impact your chances of success in quitting smoking. We will look for and identify these beliefs, discuss how they hinder your progress and what you can do to change them.

A key component of the coaching programme is the use of my purpose designed exercises. They will help you examine your relationship with smoking, discover the real reasons you continue to smoke and crucially, maximise your determination to quit. The exercises we'll use, depend on what's relevant to you and your individual situation.

New Mindset, New Results

An important element to achieving a ‘quitting mindset’ or overcoming any challenge, is motivation. 

Extrinsic motivation is the act of doing something for the purpose of a separate, external outcome. We’ll talk about the many outcomes you’ll enjoy as a result of quitting smoking and how they will positively affect your life. These could include more money, improved health, a feeling of empowerment or the opportunity to take on a new interest or pursuit. We will use a goal visualisation exercise to help you imagine these positive outcomes, boosting your extrinsic motivation.

 

We will cover the different stages in a journey of change, preparations you can make to be ready to quit and trigger situations you should try to avoid. We’ll look at why you should replace your old habit with new ones to prevent leaving a void, we’ll regularly review your progress and talk about your future hopes. 

 

Taking part in my coaching programme, will provide accountability and help you take responsibility for your outcomes. You will receive genuine, unbiased feedback, encouragement and support and all the information and guidance you need to develop a mindset suitable for becoming and staying smoke free.

My Quitting Mindset Coaching Programme is a series of ten, private, one-on-one coaching sessions conducted via zoom, along with unlimited email support.

It is for anyone who wants to quit smoking, vaping or any type of tobacco use. 

The programme contains six distinct steps but is flexible and tailored to the needs of each client.
